About us

We are Choate Rosemary Hall’s official robotics team, proudly representing our school in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). The Wired Boars are a group of passionate and innovative students dedicated to pushing the boundaries of engineering, programming, and teamwork.

About FIRST Robotics Competition

The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is an international high school robotics program that challenges teams to design, build, and program industrial-sized robots to compete in thrilling, high-energy tournaments. Guided by the principles of Gracious Professionalism and Coopertition®, FRC blends the excitement of sports with the rigors of science and technology. Each year, teams are given a new challenge, requiring innovative problem-solving and collaboration to succeed. Learn more about FRC here.

What We Do

As part of the Wired Boars, our students engage in all aspects of robot development—from brainstorming concepts and building mechanical systems to programming advanced controls and fostering strategic thinking. Beyond the competition field, we aim to inspire a love of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) in our community and grow as leaders and innovators.
