ABOUT THE GAME
The 2026 FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) game, titled “REBUILT,” centers on a theme of restoration, innovation, and reimagining the future through engineering. Teams control robots designed to collect and score spherical game pieces known as fuel into a central structure called the Hub, which alternates activation and rewards precise timing and coordination. Throughout the match, alliances navigate field obstacles, optimize scoring cycles, and adapt to shifting scoring opportunities. As time winds down, robots attempt to climb a central tower for valuable endgame points, requiring careful design and strategic execution. Success in REBUILT depends on efficiency, teamwork, and the ability to balance scoring production with a strong finish in the final moments of play.
